About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our patients, staff, and visitors across multiple Trust sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a visible and approachable security presence to deter and prevent incidents.
  • Ensure the safety and security of all patients, staff, and visitors by responding to incidents and emergencies in a timely and effective manner.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a security role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Flexibility to work across multiple Trust sites and adapt to changing circumstances.
