About the Job

The successful candidate will work as part of a team of five, Monday to Friday, performing a variety of tasks, including preparing vehicles for MOT testing, carrying out servicing and maintenance work, and assisting with the repair of grounds maintenance machinery.

Job Description
  • Prepare vehicles for MOT testing to VOSA minimum standard
  • Carry out servicing and maintenance work on vans and lorries
  • Assist with the repair of grounds maintenance machinery, including welding

Salary: £36,124 - £39,513 + £5,500 market forces supplement pro rata for hours worked

Requirements
  • Relevant recognised qualifications in the maintenance and repair of road going vehicles
  • Practical and working knowledge of the servicing, repairs, and maintenance of commercial vehicles, including welding
  • A licence to drive Class 2 HGVs – desirable but not essential
