We are seeking an experienced Head of Manufacturing and Operations to lead our UK manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive performance excellence, optimize production, and improve customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead the UK Manufacturing, Logistics, IT & ISO, Purchasing and Supply Chain departments to meet the Group's strategies and performance indicators.
  • Optimize production, product quality, customer service, and technical processes.
  • Provide coaching and leadership to a team of production staff and senior management.
  • Develop targets and key performance indicators to drive performance excellence.
  • Plan and lead Manufacturing and Purchasing work, working to develop category strategies, supplier base, logistics, customer service, and quality control.
  • Assist new product development with effective procurement solutions and manufacturing processes while meeting quality, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Ensure the site complies with Quality and Environmental management systems such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as Head of Manufacturing and Operations or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience within Furniture manufacturing or similar.
  • An approachable, accountable, and fair leadership style.
  • Experience managing and developing a team of 20+.
  • Manufacturing-related qualifications.
What We Offer
  • £60,000 to £65,000 salary.
  • Annual bonus of up to £20,000.
