About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our thriving MEP team in Cardiff. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing complex electrical systems in various sectors, including commercial, education, and technology.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical systems for buildings using Revit and 3D BIM modelling software.
  • Coordinating with other professional disciplines to ensure seamless design production.
  • Conducting lighting calculations using Dialux/Relux and cable calculations using Amtech.
  • Utilizing regulations, standards, and guidance documents to produce electrical system designs.
  • Participating in design team and client meetings, as well as attending site visits.

Requirements

  • A degree and/or Masters qualification in a relevant electrical/electronic engineering or building services engineering subject.
  • Driven, hardworking, productive, and determined individual.
  • Strong IT competencies, problem-solving skills, and ability to learn new software.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and writing skills.
  • Previous industry-related work experience is desirable.
