Maths Graduate Support Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Maths graduate to join our team as a Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and wants to gain valuable experience in a secondary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in Maths classes across all key stages
  • Run small intervention groups and 1:1 sessions for pupils who require additional support
  • Assist teachers in planning and preparing lessons, contributing innovative ideas to enhance engagement and attainment
  • Work closely with the Maths department to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them

Requirements:

  • 2:1 or above in a Maths related degree
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with students and staff
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing circumstances

What We Offer:

  • Full-time, long-term opportunity starting ASAP
  • Pay up to £520 per week
  • Opportunity to train as a Maths teacher with the school from 2025
  • Full training and ongoing development available
