Key Responsibilities- Manage a school nursing caseload for a group of schools, working closely with Band 6 SCPHN School Nurses and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide health assessments, classroom teaching, and safeguarding services to children and young people.
- Ensure safe pathways of care for children with complex medical conditions.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with schools, families, and other agencies to promote the health and well-being of children and young people.
- Contribute to the provision of safe and reliable services by using clinical judgment, risk assessments, and safeguarding protocols.
We are looking for a registered nurse with current NMC registration, a flexible approach to working, and a positive attitude with strong personal integrity. Essential skills include the ability to prioritize workload, work independently, and communicate effectively with colleagues and partners.
Desirable skills include experience of working within a multi-agency team, mentorship, and relevant experience of working with children, young people, and families.
