Job Description
In this critical role as Procurement Manager - Ebbsfleet Development, you will oversee the procurement function, ensuring seamless delivery of projects. You will advise the Chief Executive and Directors on procurement matters, provide guidance on policy compliance, and manage or support end-to-end procurement projects. Your expertise will be essential in developing and maintaining procurement procedures, keeping abreast of regulatory changes, and line-managing the EDC Procurement Officer.

Key Responsibilities
* Advise stakeholders on procurement projects, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations
* Manage or support end-to-end procurement projects, including preparation of procurement documentation, RFQs, tender briefs, and ITTs
* Maintain an overview of the Corporation's procurement process and procedures, ensuring they remain up-to-date
* Provide expert advice on procurement regulatory changes, best practice, and consequential policy updates
* Develop and maintain the Contract Register

Requirements
* Proven experience in senior procurement roles, preferably within the public sector
* Full membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS)
* Hands-on knowledge of Public Sector Procurement regulations, preferably with experience in construction procurement
* Contract management expertise, particularly with JCT and NEC 3/4 contracts
