Job Title: SEN Catering Teacher

We are seeking a qualified and experienced SEN Catering Teacher to join our team at a special school in Wiltshire. The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting individuals with Special Education Needs (SEN) and/or mental health challenges.

About the Role:

The role involves guiding pupils who are struggling, helping them to become regulated and calm, and providing support in a catering and food technology setting. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in supporting individuals with SEND, such as Autism and challenging behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support identified pupils with SEN and/or mental health challenges in a catering and food technology setting
  • Guide pupils who are struggling and help them to become regulated and calm
  • Provide support and guidance to pupils with SEND, including Autism and challenging behaviour
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Catering/Food Technology teaching experience
  • Relevant references and DBS/Police checks
  • Able to work 3-5 days per week
