Computing Specialist Required for Newham School

We are seeking an experienced Computing Specialist to join our highly successful and well-resourced department at a Good Mixed School in Newham.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach Computing at KS3 and KS4, working within a supportive team environment. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs, as well as overseas teachers with a formal teaching qualification and QTS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching Computing at KS3 and KS4
  • Contributing to the development of the Computing curriculum
  • Collaborating with colleagues to plan and deliver effective lessons
  • Maintaining high standards of student behavior and achievement

Requirements:

  • A formal teaching qualification with QTS (e.g. PGCE)
  • Experience of teaching Computing at KS3 and KS4
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
