Assistant Project Manager/Contracts Manager

Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual with a passion for construction project management? We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager/Contracts Manager to join our team at People Group Limited.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the project director/programme lead in planning and managing the effective delivery of assigned projects.
  • Ensure projects are completed within budget and schedule.
  • Assist with day-to-day liaison with stakeholders.
  • Be diligent, efficient, and pay great attention to detail to deliver quality output.
  • Assist in data collection development and analysis to ensure correct decision-making.
  • Track and report the progress of ongoing projects.
  • Full autonomy of Health and Safety on site.

Requirements:

  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours to meet project deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • SMSTS or equivalent Construction Health & Safety Certificate.
  • Must live within commutable distance of Hertfordshire.

Preferred Criteria:

  • Prior live construction environment experience.
  • 2+ years of construction management or professional construction experience.

The ideal candidate has either been on a graduate/apprenticeship scheme with a Main Contractor or somebody who is a qualified Engineer looking to move into Project Management.
