We are seeking a skilled and organized individual to oversee the maintenance of our Scout Hut in Lymington. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and addressing any maintenance issues, carrying out minor repairs, and organizing quotes for work.
This is a flexible role that would suit someone with a background in a construction or trade industry, or a keen DIY-er in the local area. The role involves overseeing a maintenance weekend event once a year, where parents and volunteers help with minor tasks.
The successful candidate will be reimbursed for expenses related to maintenance issues and will have access to ongoing support, training, and health and safety guidance. Volunteers are covered by insurance, and an enhanced DBS check will be required.
AvailabilityThe role is available Monday to Sunday, with flexible hours to suit the candidate's needs.
LocationThe Scout Hut is located at Kings Saltern Road, Lymington, Hampshire, SO41 3QD.
