Job Title: Senior Procurement Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Procurement Manager to join our team at Mane Contract Services. As a key member of our Major Equipment Procurement (MEP) team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of robust risk management strategies for our procurement operations.

About the Role:
  • Lead the development and implementation of risk management strategies for procurement operations
  • Identify, assess, and prioritize potential risks throughout the procurement lifecycle
  • Analyze the macro environment using third-party risk platforms and media to identify emerging risks
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including project procurement managers and senior leadership
  • Produce internal briefing and communication materials on macro environment risks and mitigation strategies
  • Support the development of risk mitigation strategies and oversee their implementation
  • Conduct regular risk audits and drive governance reviews
  • Manage and maintain the procurement risk register
  • Develop and nurture a strong risk management culture within the MEP UK function
Requirements:
  • Experience working in procurement roles with a strong focus on risk management
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful risk management strategies
  • Ability to work independently and build strong relationships with team members
  • Passionate about risk management and ability to inspire and develop others
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experienced with risk management software systems
