We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RMN/RNLD) to join our multidisciplinary team at Priory Hospital Solihull. Our 31-bedded service provides a safe and supportive environment for adults with serious mental illnesses, and we are committed to delivering high-quality care that promotes recovery and rehabilitation.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse at Priory Hospital Solihull, you will play a vital role in promoting the best interests of our patients and ensuring that prescribed nursing care is effectively implemented. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to maintain a safe care environment, exercise professional accountability, and use your professional skills, knowledge, and expertise to deliver high-quality care in changing environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with serious mental illnesses
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and supportive care environment
  • Exercise professional accountability and responsibility in delivering high-quality care
  • Participate in continuing professional development to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Qualified Registered Nurse (RMN/RNLD) or nearing the end of your nursing degree/masters
  • Knowledge of NMC guidelines, requests, and professional practices
  • Evidence of post-registration continuing professional development (desirable but not essential)
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement, and quality
  • Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to practice
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
