Family Support and Safeguarding Specialist

This is a rewarding role that requires your expertise in safeguarding children and supporting families. As a Social Worker Level 3, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and collaborating with other professionals to provide comprehensive support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver statutory services under the Children Act 1989, ensuring the safety and well-being of children.
  • Conduct assessments of children's needs, developing and renewing care plans tailored to their unique situations.
  • Collaborate with a range of professionals, including health and social care providers, to provide comprehensive support.
  • Prepare detailed reports for court proceedings and multi-agency meetings, advocating for the best outcomes for children.
Requirements:
  • A Social Work Degree or equivalent and registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in Child Protection, Child in Need, or Children in Care cases, including court involvement.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to provide clear and constructive guidance to team members.
