We are currently seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in the Guildford area. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to our residents, ensuring they receive the best possible service.

Responsibilities include:

  • Making meals, drinks, and snacks where necessary
  • Supporting with household and domestic tasks, such as laundry, shopping, cleaning, and financial transactions like paying bills
  • Assisting residents with getting up in the morning, providing personal care, including washing/bathing, and dressing
  • Helping with undressing and going to bed in the evening, as well as ensuring medication is taken as required

In addition to these responsibilities, you will be expected to:

  • Promote the wellbeing of our residents, taking a proactive approach to ensure they can live their best lives
  • Foster strong communication and interpersonal skills, working effectively with colleagues and residents alike

Requirements for this role include:

  • A Mandatory Care Certificate (training can be provided)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Enhanced DBS (assistance provided)
