Job Title: SEN Tutor
Location: England, South East England, Oxfordshire
Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour
Job Duties:
- Provide individualised support and tuition to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Create tailored learning plans to meet the specific needs of each student
- Implement strategies to help students overcome learning barriers and achieve academic goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to address the learning needs of students with SEN
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with students with SEN
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) regulations and best practises
- Ability to create engaging and effective learning materials
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
- Experience in delivering one-to-one tuition
Working Conditions:
The position involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The role may require travel to different locations within Oxfordshire to provide tuition services.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
