Orthopaedic Surgeon

The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our team in Trauma and Orthopaedics. As a Junior Doctor, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the management of trauma cases and orthopaedic surgeries.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of NHS experience in a surgical specialty at FY2 level or above. This role offers a challenging and rewarding environment where you can improve your clinical and surgical skills under the supervision of experienced Consultants.

Main Responsibilities:

• Providing emergency treatment for trauma cases under the guidance of Senior Medical Staff
• Assisting Consultants with ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and operating lists
• Visiting patients under the care of the Orthopaedic team and making additional visits as requested

Salary Estimate: £30,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience
