HGV2 Driver Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV2 driver to join our team at Sterling Recruitment Services. The successful candidate will be required to work up to 40-50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with potential for up to 4 nights out.

The pay rate for this role is £12.93 per hour and £35.00 per night out, with accommodation provided. This is a 12-week temporary to permanent contract for the right candidate.

The duties of this role include:

  • Driving an HGV2 vehicle
  • Delivering to customers across the UK
  • Delivering a range of glass products

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years' experience driving a Class 2 vehicle
  • The ability to drive with care due to the products being carried
  • No more than 6 points on their licence, with no DR or DD endorsements
  • Be prepared to work nights
  • Hold a valid Cat C licence with a valid CPC and Digi Card
