Site Agent Job Description

Pinnacle Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Agent to work on a prestigious civil engineering project in the Yorkshire region.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Compile the initial programme and maintain awareness of weekly targets.
  2. Plan and oversee site setup, ensuring facilities are in place prior to project launch.
  3. Manage relationships with sub-contractors while working onsite.
  4. Ensure HSEQS protocols are adhered to on sites at all times.
  5. Maintain quality control procedures.
  6. Ensure TWR is in place and up to date.
  7. Drive project pace and plan work in the field.
  8. Coordinate and prioritize site activities.
  9. Manage a team of foremen and other site staff.
  10. Ensure employees adhere to protocols in the event of an incident onsite.
  11. Relate company commercial strategy to own activities.
  12. Operate site on a holistic 'cradle to grave' project management approach.
  13. Communicate site requirements to the commercial team and achieve economical solutions.
  14. Drive project programme.
  15. Manage information and records of relevant contemporaneous records.
  16. Follow PEP to ensure work is carried out on time and on budget.
Experience & Skills:
  1. Strong People Management experience.
  2. Knowledge of good industrial relations practices.
  3. Ability to communicate with colleagues and clients in a warm and persuasive way.
  4. Strong people skills and ability to manage subcontractor supervision.
  5. Experience leading others and delivering medium to large scale projects.
  6. Ability to prioritize and make prompt decisions in the interests of the project.
  7. Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of all trades required on site, codes of practice, and specific requirements.
  8. Experience building credibility with contractors by treating them with respect.
