HVAC Construction Workpack Engineer Job Description

Job Summary:

The Construction Workpack HVAC Engineer is a crucial member of the construction team, responsible for drafting the HVAC engineering aspects of construction workpacks. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop detailed construction Workpack LADs for HVAC systems.
  • Ensure Workpacks encompass comprehensive information, including drawings, specifications, procedures, plans, permits and method statements necessary for the successful execution of HVAC construction.
  • Provide technical expertise in HVAC engineering, drafting Construction Workpack documents to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and project specifications.
  • Address and resolve any HVAC engineering challenges encountered during construction which arise from the Construction Workpack.
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure the integration of HVAC systems within the overall project scope to support Construction Workpack deliverables.
  • Implement and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards of HVAC construction documents.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to HVAC construction work pack activities.
Requirements:
  • Degree in HVAC Engineering or a related field.
  • Demonstrable experience in drafting Construction Workpacks.
  • Extensive experience in HVAC engineering, with a focus on construction projects.
  • Awareness of the UK nuclear site licence conditions.
  • Construction site work experience.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
