About the Role:
As a Research Development Project Lead, you will be responsible for applying new ideas, knowledge, and technology to create products that provide our customers with added value. You will lead, develop, and deliver new product development projects within the platform, in conjunction with Category Managers, Product Managers, and Product Development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review global product range, processes, and technologies to identify areas for improvement
- Manage product development projects from concept through to commercialisation
- Prepare detailed project plans, including budgets for individual projects
- Manage project resources internally and externally to maximise efficiency of use
- Monitor and control financial expenditure on individual projects
- Be part of Strategic Product Development project teams
- Accountable for food and manufacturing safety standards
- Work with stakeholders globally to ensure communication and timelines around delivery
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Experience of working on projects of a technical nature
- Problem solving skills (e.g. Green Belt)
- Computer literate with a scientific approach to work
- Experience in Product Development, Project Management
