Senior Drainage Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Drainage Specialist to join our team at Talent Torch. As a key member of our multidisciplinary environmental consultancy, you will play a crucial role in delivering flood risk and drainage strategies for a wide range of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of surface water/foul drainage strategies and highway designs
- Support the preparation of technical reports, risk assessments, and fee proposals
- Liaise with water regulators, statutory authorities, and stakeholders
- Conduct site walkovers, manage survey works, and oversee technical assessments
- Manage project timelines and budgets under guidance from your line manager
Requirements:
- A relevant degree in civil engineering or a related field
- A willingness to work towards chartership (ICE, CIWEM)
- ~2–5 years of experience in civil/drainage engineering
- ~ Familiarity with drainage design software (Microdrainage, Causeway, CAD)
- ~ Driving licence (preferred)
