Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Marlborough House, working on our male acute mental health inpatient ward. As a key member of our clinical support staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care, working collaboratively with our nursing and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Support patients with complex needs, using clear and effective communication to promote a therapeutic environment.
  • Work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, demonstrating a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
Person Specification
  • A good command of the English language and excellent IT skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues, demonstrating a caring and compassionate approach.
  • Previous experience of working in a healthcare setting, preferably with patients with minimal supervision.
