We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teach Now. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs in a mainstream, two-form entry Primary School.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and encouragement to students with complex needs, promoting a safe and caring environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to develop and implement individualized learning plans.
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring a high-quality educational experience for all students.
  • Support the development of students' social, emotional, and behavioral skills, promoting positive relationships and a growth mindset.
  • Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive school culture, valuing diversity and promoting equality.
Requirements
  • Confidence and experience in supporting students with complex needs, including Global Delay, ASD, ADHD, and Complex and Behavioural needs.
  • Proactive and team-oriented approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enhanced DBS check on the update service, with a clear understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Flexibility and a willingness to develop knowledge and understanding of SEN best practice, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
