Galliford Try is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Lintott, a leading principal contractor in the UK.
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Lintott Site Services Team, ensuring they are properly equipped, prepared, and informed to execute tasks scheduled. This role requires a well-organised and enthusiastic individual to engineer, plan, and organise site works being undertaken across the UK.
Key Objectives- To engineer and plan site works, ensuring correct equipment, tooling, and materials are available to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality installations of the Lintott product on-site.
- To provide direct liaison to internal and external stakeholders, maintaining a clear plan and leveraging support from stakeholders where required to deliver outcomes.
- To liaise with any other area of the business as necessary to organise and attend 'ready for site' sessions, conducting desktop site works rehearsals, and ensuring thorough preparation.
- To produce and oversee fulfilment of works Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Permits to Work, Toolbox Talks, COSHH assessments, and safe working procedures, ensuring the health and safety of personnel for the working activity.
- To undertake site audits/visits, producing and submitting any required site reports, and overseeing standards of workmanship and professionalism for Lintott systems and installations.
We are looking for a candidate with relevant project engineering experience within a customer-based or customer-focused environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is experience in managing Health and Safety responsibilities and implementing safe systems of work.
An HNC or above in a relevant technical discipline is required, or significant, demonstrable working experience can be considered in lieu of formal qualifications. City & Guilds/NVQ in a relevant technical discipline is also desirable.
