About the Role

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Bar and Waiting Apprentice to join our team at Greene King. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide customers with a memorable experience, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Know the menu inside out, offering recommendations to customers and ensuring they have a great dining experience.
  • Greet, serve food, and look after customers while they dine with us.
  • Assist the bar in preparing drinks to meet customer expectations.
  • Maintain a safe, legal, and clean environment in the front of house, addressing any issues promptly and safely.

Apprenticeship Details
  • A mixture of face-to-face and Skype/phone catch-ups every 4-6 weeks to discuss feedback and progress.
  • A mixture of on-the-job training, including workshops and webinars.
  • Reviews every 12 weeks with your Line Manager and Apprenticeship Trainer.
  • The chance to gain Functional Skills in English and maths (if you don't already have GCSEs).
  • A Hospitality Team Member Apprenticeship Qualification upon completion of the 15-month programme.
