Job Title: Advanced Clinical Practitioner Lead

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to lead our team in the Urgent Treatment Centre in Luton. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our service.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in urgent care, with experience in triage, assessment, and treatment of patients with acute and chronic illnesses and injuries. You will work closely with our team of remote GPs, other ANPs/ENPs/ECPs, and operational staff to ensure seamless patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the team in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our service.
  • Work closely with our team to ensure seamless patient care and meet Key Performance Indicators.
  • Assess and prioritize presenting patients in terms of acuity while maintaining patient safety at all times.
  • Direct patients appropriately to the right professional within an appropriate time frame.
  • Recognize the acutely ill patient and the need for urgent/emergency treatment, acting appropriately with other clinical support as required.
Person Specification
  • NMC Registered Nurse
  • Minor illness/Minor Injury qualification (L6 or L7)
  • Triage/streaming experience
  • Evidence of working with a variety of patients requiring triaging assessment and treatment (minimum of 1 year experience)
  • MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice
