We are looking for a Marine Seating Design Engineer to join our team at Quest Global.

Job Summary:

  • Design and develop marine seating systems that meet customer requirements and project objectives.
  • Analyze structural integrity and performance using finite element analysis (FEA) and other advanced engineering techniques.
  • Communicate analysis results and recommendations through detailed technical reports and documentation.
  • Support the development and improvement of marine seating systems through design reviews and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to structural stress analysis and marine seating.
  • Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards, such as MIL-STD, ASME, or ISO.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Structural Stress Engineer, preferably in the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Strong knowledge of marine seating systems and their structural requirements.
  • Proficiency in using industry-standard software tools for structural analysis, such as ANSYS, NASTRAN, or ABAQUS.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards, such as MIL-STD, ASME, or ISO.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex engineering data and make sound recommendations.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical information clearly.

Estimated Salary:£70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
