Role Overview

As a Senior Portfolio Manager at Back Market, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high-profile Smartphone merchants based in the UK. This role requires a strong understanding of sales and quality performance on all European Back Market websites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of merchants based in the UK
  • Own sales and quality performance on all European Back Market websites
  • Lead business reviews with merchants to plan and manage strategic plans, visiting and auditing their structures
  • Contribute to the development of Back Market's business strategy through field feedback and experience
  • Lead cross-team projects to tailor solutions for merchants
  • Be proficient in leveraging data to track merchant performance and analyze trends, creating projections
  • Contribute to business growth by working cross-functionally within Back Market

Requirements
  • Bilingual English
  • 3-5 years of experience in related fields
  • Previous experience in e-commerce or fast-growing startups is preferred
  • Proven customer portfolio management skills
  • Proven project management experience with success in managing deadlines, customers, and schedules
  • SQL and/or Tableau experience is a plus, but readiness to learn analytics skills is a must
  • Confidence in business and technical conversations, with the ability to break down complex concepts for anyone to understand
  • Resourcefulness, scrappiness, and creativity, with a willingness to figure out and build new solutions
