Job Title: Freelance HorticulturistAbout Us: The Garden Professional is a high-end garden maintenance company seeking an experienced and skilled horticulturist to join our team. As a part-time, freelance horticulturist, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of our clients' gardens in Tunbridge Wells and surrounding areas.
Salary: £25-£30 per hour (dependent on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Perform garden maintenance duties, including trimming, pruning, and shaping trees, shrubs, and plants using hand tools and power tools.
- Plant flowers, trees, and shrubs according to garden design plan.
- Remove weeds, dead leaves, and debris from garden area.
- Maintain garden equipment and report issues or repairs needed.
Requirements:
- Horticultural qualifications preferred but not required.
- Able to identify weeds from flowers.
- Own transportation for customer travel.
Work Schedule: Flexible, 1-3 days a week with potential for more work as the business grows.
