About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at The Mallards, a residential home in Kings Lynn, Norfolk. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, enabling them to lead as ordinary a life as possible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the day-to-day implementation of individual support plans and activities
  • Maintain effective communication and liaison with service users, families, and other staff members
  • Prepare meals, do cleaning and laundry duties
  • Maintain accurate notes and records when required
  • Work as part of a team to provide high-quality care
Personal Qualities
  • Diploma in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards one
  • Experience in supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities, and/or mental health issues
  • Ability to keep calm under pressure
  • Confidence to work alone or as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
