Job Title: Section Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Section Engineer to join our team at Morgan Sindall Infrastructure. As a Section Engineer, you will play a key role in the management of construction sites to achieve project delivery objectives while maintaining high standards of health and safety, quality, environmental impact, and cost control.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and driven individual to work within a high-performing and supportive team. You will be responsible for the management of construction sites, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage construction sites to achieve project delivery objectives
  • Ensure high standards of health and safety, quality, environmental impact, and cost control
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects
  • Develop and implement site-specific plans and procedures
  • Monitor and report on site performance and progress
Requirements
  • Relevant industry qualification (HND/HNC/BEng or equivalent)
  • Relevant CSCS card
  • CRE Accreditation (preferable)
  • SMSTS 5 days
  • Good knowledge of specifications and testing regime relevant to general civil engineering
  • Hands-on approach to commercial and planning aspects of the project
  • Civil engineering and construction experience
  • Able to produce and explain accurate plans and drawings
  • Good IT skills and able to work confidently with MS Office and other system applications
  • Sound knowledge of construction methods, health and safety, and legal regulations
