About the Position

We are seeking a Network Architect to join our team at Telefonica Tech. This is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension, working as an Inside IR35 contractor.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and implementing network architectures, including server and storage technologies. They will be responsible for the day-to-day proactive management and support of virtual environments, consisting of VMware and Hyper-V platforms.

This role involves deployment, technical support, and proactive maintenance of various products, including Operating Systems, HPE ProLiant Servers, Fibre Channel Fabrics, VMware NSX, and Nutanix.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement network architectures for virtual environments
  • Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot various technologies, including NSX and Nutanix
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the Level 2 team
  • Perform general administration tasks, including provisioning new hosts/virtual volumes, configuring replication between sites, capacity management, vendor liaison, and agentless monitoring tool management
