Job Title: HGV 1 Bulk General Haulage Driver

We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV 1 driver to join our team at Stafforce Managed Services in Southampton. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general haulage and experience driving in and around the Port of Southampton.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver bulk goods from Southampton to various locations, including Dover and Tilbury.
  • Handle different types of deliveries, from bulk shipments to single-drop deliveries.
  • Assist in loading goods if required, ensuring the load is secure and ready for transport.
  • Perform drop and swap operations as needed.
Requirements:
  • General haulage experience is essential.
  • Experience driving in and around the Port of Southampton.
  • Previous experience using a PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) is preferred.
  • Cruise ship experience is desirable but not essential.
Benefits:
  • Salary: £31,200 per annum.
  • Working Hours: 06:00 am to 15:00 pm, with some flexibility required.
  • Weekend Work: Must be willing to work weekends as needed.
  • Holidays: 25 days of holiday, plus an additional day if you work Easter Friday.
  • Additional Perks: Option to receive a weekly fruit and veg bag (£2 deducted from wage). Full uniform provided. CPC courses, licence renewals, and medicals covered. Workplace pension scheme.
