Children & Families Social Worker

Ackerman Pierce is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join their Children & Families team in Bristol. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable children and families, working closely with colleagues to provide high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments and provide support to children and families in need, working within the framework of S17 and S47.
  • Develop and implement effective plans to address the needs of children and families, promoting positive outcomes and well-being.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including Team Managers, Family Support Workers, and Assistants, to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment.
  • Utilize a strengths-based approach and systemic principles to work with families, promoting empowerment and resilience.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation using Liquid Logic (LCS), ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • HCPC Registration
  • 1-2 years post-qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (can be obtained for you)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
