Job Description
We're seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team. As a Senior Project Manager, you'll be responsible for managing and delivering a diverse portfolio of projects, predominantly in the utilities sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver projects to meet client expectations and project timelines.
- Identify and manage internal and external project stakeholders, ensuring regular and timely communications.
- Collaborate with customers and stakeholders across all project stages.
- Analyse issues, exercising judgement to make decisions and drive delivery of large infrastructure projects.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including risk registers, issue registers, and project schedules.
- Ensure appropriate project controls are in place within the team.
- Prepare and update formal project progress reports.
- Report and present on project delivery to senior management and board executives.
- Lead and motivate project team members to ensure a sense of team and clear understanding of goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Holds a 3rd level relevant qualification (relevant qualifications include engineering, project management).
- Holds a professional qualification awarded by a recognised chartered institute or association, in a discipline directly related to the category of that person.
- Holds an NEC PM accreditation.
- Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience in a role for a water utility client.
- A successful past record of achievement in delivering water utility capital contracts.
- Relevant experience of administration of NEC Conditions of Contract.
- Relevant experience of project management of large portfolio of capital projects.
