We are seeking highly motivated and talented Electrical Power Engineering graduates to join our HVDC Centre team at SSE Transmission. As a graduate, you will play a key role in supporting the power system studies to de-risk the deployment of High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) transmission technologies and contribute to our net-zero targets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop models of transmission systems and carry out simulations using specialist tools to identify feasibility, risks, and mitigation.
- Work with experts in the field to gain exposure and depth of knowledge in a business area.
- Contribute to the planning and commissioning of HVDC transmission technologies.
- Minimum of a 2:2 BEng in Electrical Power Engineering.
- Practical work or project experience in the energy sector.
- Ability to work in a team and use your own initiative to overcome challenges.
