Dementia Care Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Allied & Clinical Healthcare Recruitment. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be working with individuals who have dementia, providing high-quality care and support in a care home setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide person-centered care to individuals with dementia, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge in dementia care.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of empathy and understanding.
- Previous experience working with clients with dementia in a care home setting.
- Compassionate and non-judgmental approach to supporting individuals with dementia.
- Medication Management certificate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues and other professionals.
