Learning Support Assistant

As a Teaching Assistant in a small, friendly SEN school, you will play a vital part in supporting students with complex learning needs. Your role will involve assisting students with their learning, providing individualized support, and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
About the School
Our SEN school in Brent provides a supportive and nurturing environment for students aged 4-16 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other Special Educational Needs (SEN). Our experienced staff are dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential, and we are looking for a team member who shares our passion for education and our commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist students with their learning, providing individualized support and guidance
- Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support students with personal care tasks
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
Requirements
- Experience working with students with ASD and other SEN
- Ability to provide individualized support and guidance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team to achieve goals
