Job Title: Academic Mentor

We are seeking an accomplished Academic Mentor to support the education of students aged 5-18 with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly SEMH and/or ASD, at Embleton View, a reputable independent special school in Darlington rated 'Good' by Ofsted.

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering high-quality educational programs that cater to diverse needs, working closely with the school's team to develop targeted individual programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Engage in regulated activity relevant to children, adhering to safeguarding responsibilities outlined in the job description.
  • Undergo child protection screening, including ID checks, past employer references, and enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
