We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Project Cost Manager to collaborate with a leading Civil Engineering Contractor. This role will involve supporting the Commercial Manager across multiple project sites.
This organization is well-established in the construction industry, recognized for its excellence in delivering high-quality projects across various sectors.
- Deliver commercial insights to the management team.
- Contribute to achieving business objectives and performance indicators.
- Compile monthly financial reports detailing costs and values for the projects.
- Assist in finalizing agreements with clients and subcontractors.
- Enhance cash flow management and ensure prompt payments.
Essential Qualifications:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, with Professional Membership of RICS.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience in supporting design and consultancy contracts.
- Familiarity with NEC 3/4 contract forms.
- Experience in supply chain procurement.
- Background in dispute resolution and commercial budgeting.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace.
- Possession of a UK Driving Licence.
This position will require site-based work, involving travel between various project locations.
