Round-Peg Solutions (RPS) invites applications for a Senior Project Director to lead the company's most complex engineering development projects. As Senior Project Director, you will oversee the end-to-end project life-cycle for new and existing cutting-edge Defence products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Your responsibilities will include developing and managing project plans, budgets, and risks, ensuring alignment with business objectives. You will also implement Agile/Waterfall/Prince2 methodologies, ensuring the flexibility to adapt while staying on target.

In addition, you will present critical project updates, including risk assessments, cost forecasts, and timelines to senior management. Travel internationally when needed to ensure alignment and progress across global locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end project life-cycle for new and existing cutting-edge Defence products.
  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and risks, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Present critical project updates, including risk assessments, cost forecasts, and timelines to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Experience managing complex product engineering development projects, ideally within advanced device development (electronics, mechanics, acoustics).
  • A strong track record of using Agile or similar methodologies to deliver engineering projects.
  • Leadership skills to manage matrix-based teams across multiple functional areas in a global setting.

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
