About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team at Lifelancer, a talent-hiring platform in Life Sciences, Pharma and IT. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for proactively communicating and building relationships with key professionals of all levels within the alternative assets industry.

Your main objective will be to obtain valuable proprietary information on past, current, and future investment activities. You will update Preqin's online database (CRM) with key financial information, statistics, and analysis. Additionally, you will conduct bespoke statistical analysis for clients, liaise with teams in North America and APAC, and collaborate with other departments in the company to deliver requests and provide solutions.

In this role, you will support senior team members on research projects and get involved in further data enhancement and development activities. You may also contribute to research reports, blogs, and publications occasionally. Furthermore, you will conduct supplementary public/web research where necessary.

We require a highly proactive and enthusiastic approach to relationship building, strong research capabilities, and investigative instincts. You should perform effectively in a target-driven environment, working towards set KPIs and performance metrics. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is desirable but not essential. Previous work experience focused on communication and relationship management is desirable.

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team, develop your skills, and grow professionally. What We're Looking For
  • A degree-level education (ideally a 2:1 expected or achieved) or equivalent relevant industry experience for a minimum of 1 year
  • Fluency in French speaking/writing is required

Please note that this is a permanent, full-time position located in London. You will be reporting to the Manager, Hedge Funds EMEA II, Data.
