Job Purpose

We are seeking a Civils Operative - Site Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing programmed works to the highest safety standards, ensuring site safety and work quality, and complying with NRSWA and Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage programmed works to the highest safety standards
  • Responsible for site safety and work quality and compliance with NRSWA and Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards
  • Manage programmed works to the highest electrical safety management safety standards
  • Manage programmed works to the highest environmental standards
  • Develop good relationships with clients, other service providers, architects, consultants, and end customers
  • Deliver the programmed works at the expected level of quality, performance, safety, and cost
  • Site management interface between customer staff and other service providers
  • Ensure adequate progress is being made during the project lifecycle

Requirements

  • NRSWA Operative desirable but not essential
  • Working experience in a civils discipline
  • Experience within the electricity distribution industry
  • Good communication skills and the ability to give and receive instructions
  • Interpersonal skills of communication, influencing, negotiation, persuasion, and diplomacy
  • Knowledge of specification, design, maintenance, and construction of plant and apparatus, including control and protection equipment
