About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef/Cook to join our team at ESS, a leading provider of food services to the Defence sector. As a Chef/Cook, you will play a key role in preparing and serving high-quality food to our clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to meet the needs of our clients and customers
  • Work collaboratively with our culinary teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Identify opportunities to improve our menus and food services, and implement changes as needed
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive brand image
  • Record and reduce food waste levels, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards, and Health & Safety regulations
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a passion for world-class food and customer service
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills, and a flexible approach to working
  • Good understanding of Food Handling & Hygiene standards, and a commitment to maintaining high standards
