Full-Time Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to support children with English as an Additional Language (EAL) needs in our schools. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support and promote language development in a fun and engaging way.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to EAL students, helping them to access the curriculum and develop their language skills
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to develop and implement language support plans
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation, including creating language-based activities and resources
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to ensure seamless support

Requirements:

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with children and adults from diverse backgrounds
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced school environment
  • Confident language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English
