Job Opportunity: Head of Consumer PR

Ogilvy UK is continuing to thrive in the market, and we're looking for an experienced, well-connected, and passionate consumer PR expert to join our team. As the consumer landscape evolves, we want to bring in a true practitioner and ambassador for consumer PR who can bring connections, ideas, excitement, and knowledge to light a fire in our consumer space.

The ideal candidate will have a wealth of knowledge about what brands are doing and what great looks like in this space. They will be comfortable running a big team, driving growth with exceptional commercial acumen, and navigating complex client and stakeholder relationships. Experience working with big and disruptive brands, as well as multi-national clients, is highly desirable.

We're looking for someone who radiates energy about the work and the impact they can have on it. They should be an inclusive leader who is an advocate for their team, champions diverse talent, and leads by example. The successful candidate will also be comfortable operating at the highest levels with C-suite clients, giving counsel and advice when required.

About the Role:

  • Develop meaningful industry-leading earned-first campaigns and ideas that bring together social, influence, and PR in the best possible way.
  • Lead by example and be an exceptional role model, practicing and encouraging empathy in your team.
  • Pitch winner and client grower with commercial acumen and demonstrable experience driving growth and winning pitches.
  • Media expert with knowledge of audience targeting and measurement best practice.
  • Shape and share the agency's point of view on the latest trends and hot takes on all things consumer.
  • Integrate with influence, social, and corporate reputation teams to deliver integrated campaigns that drive business results.
