Estimator - High End Interior Fit Out & Bespoke Joinery

Mitchell Maguire is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team in a specialist Construction Recruitment Consultancy.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Estimator to work on a range of high-end interior fit out and bespoke joinery projects for main contractors and high-end users. The ideal candidate will have estimating experience within the joinery, bespoke joinery, cabinet making, bespoke furniture, shopfitting, and joinery fit out market sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review tender enquiries to determine scope of works and project deadlines
  • Produce first principle cost estimates / BOQs for customer deadlines
  • Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
  • Establish and maintain relationships with contractors and suppliers
  • Work on projects ranging in value from £10k to £300k
Requirements
  • Must have estimating experience within joinery / bespoke joinery / cabinet maker / bespoke furniture / shopfitting / joinery fit out market sectors
  • Good technical knowledge and understanding of industry processes, materials, and costs
  • Highly organised with good attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good team player who also works well individually
