About the Role

We're looking for a skilled Retail Shift Manager to join our team at Lidl in Deutschland. As a key member of our store operations, you'll be responsible for maintaining high standards, motivating your team, and ensuring seamless store operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Motivate and support your team, leveraging our Leadership and Company Principles to drive success.
  • Swiftly solve problems and delegate tasks to ensure efficient store operations.
  • Create an environment where your colleagues can thrive and succeed.
  • Manage store operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager.
  • Handle freshness, cash processes, inventory, and stock management to ensure smooth shifts.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences every time.

Requirements

  • Experience leading a team to achieve targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective delegation and team motivation skills.
  • Patience and a friendly manner, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Passion for thriving as a key part of the Store Team.
  • A proactive and encouraging approach to help colleagues develop and store operations.
