Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe and secure environment for all clients, visitors, and staff
  • Liaise closely with the Head of Security to discuss issues and departmental operations
  • Maintain accurate stock control and maintenance of security equipment
  • Conduct and supervise crime investigations with the Head of Security
  • Deputise for the Head of Security in their absence
  • Liaise with the police as necessary on crime and crime prevention issues
  • Conduct regular patrols using the Morse Watchman system
  • Carry out staff searches, vehicle searches, and locker searches
  • Perform outdoor duties as required
  • Attend reported incidents and complete incident reports
  • Ensure the security department is aware of and complies with bomb and fire evacuation procedures
  • Operate and control the CCTV system in accordance with current legislation
  • Conduct internal crime and discipline investigations as necessary
  • Ensure compliance with procedures regarding drugs, recording, disposal, police involvement, and hotel guests
